NEW FROM SANDRA McCRACKEN

Walking Through Walls

Last year I received an unexpected email from theologian Jeremy Begbie. He was gathering musicians, writers, and artists at Duke Divinity School to reflect on one theme: the resurrection. He asked if I would write a song inspired by the moment the disciples were hiding behind locked doors when Christ came and stood among them.

At the time, I was living in Oxford in a quiet season of renewal, remembering again the steady hope at the center of my own story.

Out of that season came Walking Through Walls.

It’s about freedom over fear. About locked rooms and unexpected hope. About the way Christ still meets us in the places we think are sealed shut.

The song is out today and I can’t wait for you to hear it.

With gratitude,
